Owning The Look
With everything in life just be yourself. Who cares what anyone else thinks? The same goes for your wedding look. Own it, be yourself, add your own touches or ask a stylist for help. If you want a bouquet of flowers, then do so. If you want just a single stem (a trend for 2025 according to The Wed), that’s fine too. It’s your day!
Set in a photography studio in Glasgow, Monique wears the F & D dress and sleeves, adding her own tights, shoes and nails. The flowers here are from Bishopbriggs / Glasgow based Oops a Daisy Florist.
The Editorial Look and How to Achieve it
Whether it be a shoot for yourself or a wedding day, you need a story or a side story at least. Not just a load of random photos! With this shoot, we took to the streets of Glasgow and designed a storyboard of a bride running free.
I shot with a 24-70 lens and added a whole load of controlled or direct flash where we needed. The images were then edited with either of my two Ryan Murrant signature edits, with the black and white Hollywood edit and that extra grain giving images that WOW!
The results are stunning, aren’t they? All this is achievable on your wedding day too. Ok, we may be slightly limited with locations but if you plan with your photographer for a little 15 minute session, you can get some great individual or couple results.
