The Editorial

This editorial collection, created by Edinburgh wedding photographer Ryan Murrant, throws out the rulebook. Shot across still, poetic yet out of context spaces, the series asks a challenging question: do we really need to be anything other than ourselves? Are we simply playing into a cycle of dopamine and distraction, shaped by social media’s ever-fleeting approval?

At the heart of this work is freedom. The freedom to be yourself, even if that self is quiet, strange, soft, or gloriously off-trend.

The team conjured a mood that exists far beyond trends. This wasn’t about relevance. It was about resonance.
